Beatrice Zagato è un'artista italiana. Vive tra Italia e Spagna. Si forma presso la famosa Escola d’Art Massana di Barcellona e nella città catalana fonda nel 2010 il suo studio artistico. Il suo linguaggio espressivo è la pittura, la fotografia e i progetti sociali. Nel 2017 è a Londra dove vince una residenza artistica per realizzare un progetto che utilizza l’arte come strumento per generare nuove connessioni e aperture nella società, in risposta al Brexit. Il suo progetto viene accolto dall’Estorick Collection of ModernItalian Art con cui Zagato entra in collaborazione e viene esposto in diversi punti nevralgici della City. Nel 2015 è vincitrice del prestigioso Premio Internazionale Pitagora indetto dall’Unione Europea, realizzato con fondi europei, patrocinato dalla Commissione Europea e dalla Presidenza della Repubblica Italiana. L’opera vincitrice di Zagato è in esposizione permanente presso il Museo Pitagora delle Arti e della Scienza (KR). Recentemente la Fondazione Modigliani ha selezionato il lavoro di Zagato per omaggiare Modigliani nel centenario della sua morte. L’opera di Zagato entrerà da dicembre 2020 a far parte in forma permanente del Tributo Modigliani, presso il portale della Fondazione. Recently the Modigliani Foundation selected Zagato's work to pay homage to Amedeo Modigliani on the centenary of his death. Zagato's work will become a permanent part of the Modigliani Tribute from December 2020, at the portal of the Foundation.
