EN After graduating in Physics and Math, Sara Piazza decided to attend the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan, in order to pursue a professional career in photography. At the IIF, she had a chance to experiment all the potentialities of the photographic medium. At the end of her studies, she was selected by the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia to feature in a collective show organised on occasion of the eight edition of Photofestival, a cultural event sponsored by AIF - Associazione Italiana Foto e Digital Imaging - and part of the photo fair Photoshow (Milan, 2009). In the following years, Sara Piazza participated in several international art fairs. In 2013, her work was staged at Swab Barcelona, in 2014 and 2015 at the Affordable Art Fair Milano. Her shots have also been shown in France, at the Galerie Etienne des Causans (Paris, 2014), on occasion of the Salone Art3F (Lyon, 2015) and the Salon international d’art contemporain Art3F (Nice, 2015), and in the Netherlands at the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam (2015). IT Dopo la laurea in Scienze Fisiche e Matematiche Sara Piazza avvia la sua carriera di fotografa professionista diplomandosi presso l’Istituto Italiano di Fotografia di Milano dove inizia molto presto a sperimentare le potenzialità del mezzo fotografico. Al termine del suo percorso formativo è selezionata dall’Istituto Italiano di Fotografia per la mostra collettiva curata in occasione dell’ottava edizione di Photofestival un evento culturale promosso da AIF - Associazione Italiana Foto e Digital Imaging – collateralmente alla fiera di fotografia Photoshow (Milano 2009). Nel corso degli anni Sara Piazza è stata protagonista di importanti fiere di arte contemporanea a livello internazionale. Nel 2013 è presente a Swab Barcelona nel 2014 e nel 2015 ad Affordable Art Fair Milano. Parallelamente agli impegni italiani le opere fotografiche di Sara raggiungono anche la Francia presso la Galerie Etienne des Causans (Parigi 2014) e in occasione del Salone Art3F (Lione 2015) e del Salon international d’art contemporain Art3F (Nizza 2015) e l’Olanda Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam (2015).
