EN In 1977 Francesco Nuvolari graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Florence and earned his accreditation as an art historian in 1989. His artistic research is fuelled by his immense passion for the sky in all its changeable manifestations: the union of architectural and celestial elements becomes the cornerstone of his photographic language. Over the years, Nuvolari has put out numerous books with prestigious publishers such as Arsenale, Electa, Mondadori and Laterza (Bari). He has staged important events to promote the culture and historic legacy of Italy in France as well as the United States, collaborating with the Italian Consulate General in Philadelphia, the Italian Consulate in Pittsburgh, the Italian Institute of Culture and Columbia University in New York. In 2004 he was curator for the Sensi Contemporanei at the Venice Biennale and four years later he was named president of the Italian Arts and Cultural of London. Nel corso degli anni, Nuvolari pubblica numerosi libri con prestigiose case editrici come Arsenale, Electa, Mondadori e Laterza di Bari. Ha realizzato importanti eventi per valorizzare la cultura e il patrimonio storico dell’Italia sia in Francia sia negli USA, collaborando con il Consolato Generale d’Italia a Philadelphia, con il Consolato d’Italia di Pittsburgh, con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura ed infine con la Columbia University di New York. Nel 2004 riveste il ruolo di Curatore nella mostra Sensi Contemporanei alla Biennale di Venezia e quattro anni dopo viene nominato presidente dell’Italian Arts and Cultural of London.
