EN After studying photography at the Escola Grisart in Barcelona, Jamie Lieberman commenced his promising career with a photo shoot for Soho Shop published in Vogue in 2007. He later continued his artistic path by collaborating with other authoritative periodicals such as Horizon Magazine, Revista Zero and Shanghai Magazine. In 2013 he participated in a collective exhibition entitled Points of View (Photography) at Galeria N.2 in Barcelona. At the gallery, he showed Verde Santo, the first work in an extensive series that takes a demystifying look at the still-life genre. The magazine Arte Fotografico examined this distinctive artistic aspect and that year it published an article on one of Lieberman’s most famous works, Bodegón: two eccentric photo series in which he proposes this reinterpretation with erotic shading. The following year – 2014 – he participated in the Semana Cultural de Sallent and was also one of the key figures in a collective exhibition staged at the Teatro La Massa in Vilassar de Dalt. In 2015 he was a guest at Art Photo Barcelona, a photographic festival of emerging artists and specialized galleries. There he showed abstract photographs in which black backgrounds are crossed by cracks of polychrome lights. Nel 2013 partecipa ad una esposizione collettiva intitolata Points of View (Photography) presso la Galeria N.2 di Barcellona. In questa sede espone la sua opera Verde Santo, la prima di una lunga serie che decodifica il genere still life in chiave demistificante. Proprio su questa sua peculiarità artistica si sofferma la rivista Arte Fotografico, la quale pubblica nello stesso anno un articolo su uno dei suoi lavori più celebri, Bodegón: due eccentriche serie fotografiche in cui propone proprio questa reinterpretazione dall’erotica ombreggiatura. L’anno seguente, nel 2014, partecipa alla Semana Cultural de Sallent ed è inoltre tra i protagonisti di una mostra collettiva allestita presso il Teatro La Massa a Vilassar de Dalt. Nel 2015 verrà ospitato da Art Photo Barcelona, festival fotografico di artisti emergenti e gallerie specializzate. Qui espone fotografie abstract dove fondali neri vengono attraversati da fenditure di luci policromatiche.
