EN Federica Cogo received her first award in 2008 when she won the Young Artist Prize from Fair Play S.r.l. The same year, she featured in the collective show Cosa guardi? at the prestigious Gran Guardia palace in Verona. After the first collective shows, she decided to participate in the Premio Celeste in 2012 and received the second prize. In 2013, she was one the protagonists of the PLAYTIME project, curated by Cecilia Freschini and presented firstly at the Zajia Lab // Beijing Project Space in Beijing, China and then at the Videoart Project Space in Milan, Italy. The same year she participated in the VII International Art Prize Laguna, curated by Igor Zanti, and was awarded a place in a residency program in the Caochangdi Art District, China. She also won the CO.CO.CO.13 (Como Contemporary Contest 2013) and rapresented Italy at the European Biennial JCE Jeune Création Européenne. In 2014 G.A.I. - Associazione Circuito Giovani Artisti Italiani selected Cogo to take part in Giovane Fotografia Italiana #03, a contest for young Italian photographers. On this occasion she had her work shown at Fotografia Europea, in Reggio Emilia. The same year, her work was also exhibited at Art Verona and The Others (Turin). In 2015, she was awarded twice at Who Art You?, winning both the Special Proize D’Ars and the Premio Art Pour L’Art. Federica Cogo currently lives and works in Verona. Dopo le prime mostre collettive, decide di partecipare ed esporre al Premio Celeste (2012), dove si classifica seconda. Nel 2013 è tra i protagonisti del progetto PLAYTIME, curato da Cecilia Freschini e presentato prima a Pechino, presso Zajia Lab // Beijing Project Space, e poi a Milano (Videoart Project Space). Lo stesso anno partecipa al VII International Art Prize Laguna, a cura di Igor Zanti, dove vince una residenza d’artista presso Lab_Yit in Cina. Il soggiorno in Cina è occasione di una mostra presso il presso Caochangdi Art District (Pechino). Vincitrice del CO.CO.CO.13 (Como Contemporary Contest 2013), è chiamata a rappresentare la sezione italiana all’interno della Biennale Europea JCE Jeune Création Européenne. Nel 2014 è selezionata da G.A.I. - Associazione Circuito Giovani Artisti Italiani, per far parte di Giovane Fotografia Italiana #03, il concorso dedicato alla fotografia italiana emergente. Con il progetto espone a Reggio Emilia all’interno di Fotografia Europea. Lo stesso anno il suo lavoro è presentato a Art Verona e a The Others (Torino). Nel 2015 a Who Art You? è vincitrice di due premi speciali, lo Special Proize D’Ars e il Premio Art Pour L’Art. Attualmente vive e lavora a Verona.
