José Jorge Chávez Morales nació en Trujillo – Perú en el año 1965 hizo sus estudios artísticos en la escuela superior de Bellas Artes “Macedonio de la Torre” su obra se encuentra dentro de la corriente naif formal. Sus cuadros son pintados desde una visión lúdica que la inocencia de la niñez... En ellos evoca memorias y vivencias de sueños, anhelos infantiles, dándoles vida a través de colores cálidos y alegres, trasmitiendo con ellos todo el encanto de la maravillosa etapa infantil.
