Painting is a way to sublimate my understanding of the world, communicate and create a relation with my audience. I use powerful symbolism to convey positive energy and feelings Being a self-taught artist is a tough choice; I found legitimity in my ancestry, which counted many famous German and Russian artists; learning about their work helped me understand that art has a purpose, giving depth and meaning to everyday objects, creating a value and transmitting stories. Art and creation is a way to express my interests for philosophy and symbolism After exploring different techniques I started mixing them to reach more depth and dimensions in the paintings; for exemple combining realism and geometry in portraits expands the narrative and perception, subsequently opening a “dialogue” with the viewer. his notion of relation to the audience became very important and today the core of my work is what I transmit to the owner of my paintings. I want the paintings to become an asset something that has an effect. My latest project is a range of hand painted clothing ; seeing people’s unique personality emphasized by wearing a unique creation is very rewarding and I see my work fulfilling its purpose. discovered my creative potential at 30, after going for a second education as a decorator and interior designer(first high education is economics). Several generations of the famous German Adt family, associated with creativity, influenced my choice. In 1867 the sculptor Nikolai Adt signed a contract with the architect Ryazanov to participate in the construction of a new Palace for Prince Vladimir, son of Alexander ll. My great-grandfather was a famous St. Petersburg artist-engraver, Сonstantin Adt, who painted a portrait of the Napoleanic soldier Jean-Baptiste Nicolas Savin. In St. Petersburg at that time were many world renowned engravers: Mate, K. Adt, Rashevsky, Weyerman, etc. And my great-grandfather’s name is cited in the book " Honorary Citizens of St. Petersburg" Ever since childhood I have loved to draw with pencils. After school, I became fascinated by traveling. Then I lived for several years in Switzerland and France. I began to paint oil landscapes, began to develop new ideas, new techniques, insights: I wanted to experiment. In this way I came to realize my creative talent. And it immediately made me happier and life became more interesting. My works convey meaning, philosophy, symbolism, my state of mind. For example, a series of paintings of butterflies symbolizes the bright period in my life; that of transformation and rebirth, as does the caterpillar. Butterfly and soul. Similarities in the stages of development. The life cycle begins with a larva-symbol of the birth of consciousness. A caterpillar emerges from the larva. This stage is a symbol of birth, appearance in the physical world. After the birth-worldly life. Finally, the time comes and the caterpillar pulls away from the hustle and bustle, makes a cocoon for itself and leaves it from this world. She falls asleep and wakes up in a new appearance. Now she is a beautiful butterfly. She can already fly. The soul is resurrected. The main task of the butterfly - flit and make love. Butterflies smell their pair over a few kilometers. A carefree butterfly flies away from the hustle and gloom. Beautiful, light and free. The eternal symbol of the soul. My painting "Split personality" is a self-portrait symbolizing a stage of life, before and after, which can not be achieved without a split of consciousness, and from the center of this split a new personality is born. "Tulip fields" Spring inspiration from a bird's eye view bright, multi-colored stripes. In my eyes, nature is valuable in itself. It hides the mystery of the universe, dissolved harmony and beauty. The power of a portraits are in combining realism and geometrism. I do not limit the image of a person and create an extra dimension by adding geometric shapes. In female portraits I see something fatal, commanding a man, living by instincts and enticing into the world of my passions and fantasies. To create “body art paintings”, I used gold and silver paint, which, in addition to decorative functions, has a symbolic meaning. Gold is traditionally the color of gods, spiritual wealth and all the most beautiful. Silver reflects the living human nature and symbolizes holiness, purity and truth. In these paintings the naked truth of the creator’s soul is hidden. Paintings were done by body. In my paintings there s a special energy is transmitted to the owners and their home. Some of my works are in private collection in Russia, Europe, New Zealand, Australia. Then I started to transfer my creativity in painting to clothes, shoes, accessories and decor; painting directly on fabric in one piece, emphasizing the individuality of a person and their unique look. I was invited to participate collective exhibition in London, but couldn’t travel and Russian art fair.
