EN Well renowned at international level, Lorenzo Minoli developed his passion for photography during his studies in law and, after his graduation, he started working at the Istituto Geografico De Agostini as editor of journals and books. In the same years he polished his photography style making it more professional and more defined, to the point that he was noticed by major agencies and newspapers that published his shots. Atlante, Il Mondo, Grazia, and Il Libro dell’Anno feature texts and comments of the artist. Not only that: his photographs, which also include a selection of portraits, appear in the newspaper La Notte, and are distributed by various agencies, among which Grazia Neri, the leading Italian photo agency. Minoli, once established himself in the area, continued to study: these were the years of his most important works, which led him to travel between Chernobyl and Portugal. Over the years the artist developed a strong interest in film directing: after 15 years spent experimenting ducumentary techiniques, the artist moved to the United States, where he produced mini-series and movies. On this occasion Minoli was awarded the Primetime Emmys, as well as the Christopher Award and several ACE Award. Negli stessi anni perfeziona il suo stile fotografico rendendolo più definito e professionale, al punto che viene notato da importanti agenzie e giornali che pubblicano i suoi scatti. Atlante, Il Mondo, Grazia e Il Libro dell’Anno riportano testi e interventi dell’artista. Non solo: le sue fotografie, che includono anche una selezione di ritratti, appaiono sul giornale La Notte e sono distribuite da varie agenzie, tra le quali ricordiamo Grazia Neri, prima agenzia fotografica italiana. Minoli, affermatosi nel campo, continua ad approfondire i suoi studi: sono gli anni dei suoi lavori più importanti, che lo spingono a viaggiare tra Chernobyl e il Portogallo. Negli anni l’artista sviluppa un forte interesse per la regia cinematografica: dopo 15 anni di lavoro documentaristico l’artista si trasferisce negli Stati Uniti, dove produce miniserie e film. In questa occasione Minoli ottiene il Primetime Emmy, oltre ad un Christopher Award e diversi ACE Award.
